Description

Banking has been a mystery to most women and access to formal financial services a problem. The initiative made it possible for 45000 women adult to have access to savings and credit through the village savings and loans program of the banking on change project. It made it possible for access to food through honey production, eating, income to buy food, increase in fruits production through pollination and heath through health insurance registration and usage. It has supported in archiving gender equality and empower all women and girls.

The action can be expanded because all over the country we have women, living in rural area, widows, vulnerable and less advantaged who have no access to credit, savings, and formal financial services and are excluded.

Replicability

It can be replicated in many areas by getting start fund and introducing savings and loans through village savings and loans model.
