The Equator Initiative is pleased to be undertaking two major activities at the Seventh Conference of the Parties to the Convention (COP7) on Biological Diversity in Kuala Lumpur . These are the Award of the Equator Prize 2004 and the organization of The Community Kampung. These pages are designed to provide further information on these activities and to serve as a resource for community participants in Kuala Lumpur , COP7 delegates, and interested members of the media and public.
